The national open seminars have been attended by relevant stakeholders (SMEs, industrial design creators, legal advisors, attorneys, etc.) and focussed on training and disseminating information on Hague system related industrial design protection strategies and techniques among ASEAN stakeholders. They also addressed topics related to the use if the EU Registered Community Designs as well as the use of information tools such as Designview.

As a result of these seminars, the productive sector in the relevant ASEAN countries is in a better position to take advantage of the main systems available to obtain protection for their designs in export markets.
