Course on Trade Mark Law Treaty and Absolute Grounds for Refusal Examination

Thailand is currently not a member of the Trade Mark Law Treaty. Still, the aim of this activity is to improve the efficiency with which trade mark applications are dealt with bearing in mind the norms and standards provided in the Trade Mark Law Treaty, as well as the substantive examination of trade marks. During the course, participants heard detailed presentation of the Trademark Law Treaty from Denis Croze, head of the International Law Development Section of WIP. They also learnt about the Community Trade Mark system and OHIM practices from OHIM examiner Claire Duranton.
