Introducing the ECAP II Project team at OHIM in Alicante

Javier Rujas, Deputy Director, a Spanish national with a degree in Chemistry and Industrial Property. From 1981 to 1994 he was Head of Division for International Affairs at the Spanish Patent and Trade Mark office. Thereafter he joined the OHIM as Head of Service in the Technical Co-operation Division and recently took up the position of Deputy Director within the General Affairs and External Relations Department.

Sharon Blackburn, Project Administrator, a British national with graduate studies in Economics and European Social Studies and an Official to the European Communities. Prior to joining OHIM in 1998, where she has been involved in implementing external activities in the IP fields of trade marks and designs, she worked at the EC headquarters in Brussels dealing with external relations with the future member states of the European Union.

Ulrika Rendel, Project Assistant, is a Swedish national, with a degree in Philology. She is an official of the European Communities whose work experience has predominantly centred on external relations. She currently carries a range of responsibilities relating to the organisational, logistical and financial aspects of implementing the ECAP II trade mark and design activities at OHIM.
