Introducing the Programme Management Unit (PMU) in Munich

Valentín Mir Guillén, ECAP II Project Director Valentín Mir Guillén, ECAP II Project Director, Spanish national, graduated in aeronautical engineering (Madrid, ES). In 1988 he joined the EPO first as an examiner, then he became a member of the Patent Information Unit. Since 1999, he has managed co-operation projects in Latin America and Asia for the International Technical Co-operation Directorate. In September 2003 he succeeded to Mr. Johan Amand as the Project Director for the ECAP2 Programme.
   
Sybille Skelly, ECAP II Project Administrator, German national, has an MSc in International Relations and Public Administration during her studies in Belgium and the UK. She has 10 years of project management experience working for international organisations in Brussels and South Africa. She coordinates the administration of the programme.
   
Gülsemin Bal, ECAP II Project Assistant, French national, graduate in Business studies. She has 6 years? project experience within the EPO International Technical Co-operation Directorate and is well known by all project partners. She is responsible for the organisational and logistic aspects of project activities.
   
Sanna Forsman, ECAP II Finance Assistant, Finnish national, has an MSc in Political Science. She joined the ECAP II team in January 2002 and is responsible for all financial aspects concerning the ECAP II Programme, including monitoring the budget and reporting.
