?Welcome to the website of the EC-ASEAN Intellectual Property Rights Co-operation Programme (ECAP II), a European Commission supported initiative.

The ECAP II programme aims to foster both trade, investment and technology exchange between Europe and ASEAN and intra-ASEAN trade and investment.

This website is intended to serve as an information tool for those interested in IP in Europe and in South-East Asia. It will document the efforts undertaken jointly by the EU and ASEAN in the promotion of the protection of intellectual property rights. In this way, the important role of industrial property rights as a stimulus for investment and technology transfer and for the promotion of research and development in ASEAN, will be enhanced.
